The plant-based alternative to petroleum jelly.
Sensioil® VSV was specially developed as a plant-based alternative to conventional petroleum jelly. It is a blend of carefully selected fats, vegetable oils, and triglycerides designed to produce a stable product with a semi-solid consistency.
Sensioil® VSV can be used in a variety of cosmetic formulations due to its excellent emollient properties. Suitable for all skin types, especially dry skin, as it forms a hydrophobic film on the skin’s surface to prevent water loss. Suitable for all hair types, especially damaged and dry hair, providing emollience to the strands and ensuring shine, softness, and manageability.
Sensioil® VSV can be used in products for curly hair, including those in the “LOW POO” and “NO POO” categories, because not only does it contain no petrolatum—a component prohibited in both categories—but it is also an easily removable emollient that does not cause buildup. Other advantages of Sensioil® VSV compared to regular petroleum jelly include higher polarity, lower occlusivity, and faster absorption.
