Growth factors are cytokines—proteins naturally produced by cells—that are responsible for cellular communication and the regulation of essential processes such as proliferation, differentiation, and tissue regeneration. In this context, TC FACTOR® EGF stands out as a potent mitogenic factor, acting on the differentiation and proliferation of cells of mesodermal and ectodermal origin. Its action stimulates the activity of fibroblasts and keratinocytes, promoting cell renewal and accelerating healing processes.

By stimulating the synthesis of collagen and elastin, it helps improve skin firmness, elasticity, and texture, helping to reduce wrinkles, fine lines, and scars, including those caused by acne. Its regenerative action promotes skin repair and remodeling, resulting in a more even and healthy appearance. Delivered in nanoparticles with an average diameter between 100 and 200 nm, it offers greater penetration efficiency and performance, making it suitable for advanced dermocosmetic formulations.

TC FACTOR® EGF works by binding with high affinity to the Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGF-R) on the cell surface, thereby stimulating the intrinsic activity of the tyrosine kinase protein. The activation of tyrosine kinase, in turn, initiates a signaling cascade, resulting in a variety of biochemical changes within the cell:

  • Increase in intracellular calcium levels
  • Increased glycolysis and protein synthesis
  • Facial products such as serums, gel creams, creams, lotions, and toners
