A high-performance volatile silicone fluid, SILIKON® VLT acts as a carrier with excellent spreadability, featuring low surface tension and high compatibility with various cosmetic ingredients. It provides a silky, lightweight feel on the skin, with rapid absorption and no residue or oily buildup, contributing to formulations with a dry touch and a sophisticated finish.

It is highly soluble in anhydrous alcohols and various organic solvents, and offers excellent lubricating properties and easy removal. Its controlled volatility ensures rapid evaporation without causing a cooling effect on the skin, due to its low heat of vaporization, setting it apart from other volatile carriers. This characteristic, combined with its versatility, allows for use in various cosmetic systems, enhancing the sensory experience and efficiency of formulations.
