Cold cream foundation
Acquacream® TC-K is an innovative self-emulsifying base specially developed for cold-process cosmetic formulations, enabling the quick and convenient production of body and facial creams and lotions. Presented in the form of an easy-to-handle paste, it requires only the addition of water and vigorous stirring to form, in seconds, a stable and homogeneous emulsion, significantly optimizing the time and cost of the production process.
Its light texture ensures excellent spreadability and rapid absorption into the skin, leaving an immediate sensation of smoothness, softness, and sensory comfort. The carefully formulated composition of Acquacream® TC-K allows for high compatibility and versatility when incorporating various cosmetic active ingredients, enhancing the benefits and unique features of the final formulations.

Time savings in production:
The use of Acquacram® TC-K significantly reduces the complexity and duration of the traditional production process by eliminating steps such as prolonged heating and extensive homogenization. As a result, the following benefits are achieved:
Reduction of operational steps: simplifies and optimizes the production process.
Higher industrial productivity: enables fast and efficient production.
Commercial agility: enables agile product launches and a rapid response to market demands.
Pre-dispersion: Start by adding about 10% of the total water required for the formulation. If using a powdered chelating agent, incorporate it at this stage.
Incorporating Acquacream® TC-K: Add Acquacream® TC-K cut into smaller pieces (approximately the size of the palm of your hand) to facilitate even dispersion.
Initial Stirring: Turn on the reactor’s standard stirrer and the turbo stirrer for 5 minutes to ensure homogeneous initial mixing.
Gradual addition of water: Add water in small increments (about 10% at a time), alternating between conventional mixing (2 minutes) and turbo mixing (5 minutes), while regularly checking the appearance and consistency of the product.
Incorporating active ingredients: If any lumps are present, add the specific active ingredients (excluding fragrance and preservatives) at this stage. Mix thoroughly and return to the turbo mode for an additional 5 minutes.
Finishing: Once the mixture is thoroughly homogenized, add the fragrance and preservatives while stirring until the emulsion is completely uniform.

Acquacream® TC-K must be protected from moisture. When stored in and at temperatures below 30°C, the product remains stable for at least 24 months.
